The had been founded by a group of qualified Homeopathic Doctors/practitioners in the province of Ontario . Professional ethics and standards of this discipline bind all members . Through the HMAC, the public is assured of a professional, ethical and qualified practitioner.
H.M.A.C. has set the highest required standards of education for Homeopathic Physicians – as per International regulatory acceptable standards. All members are thoroughly trained, highly qualified and knowledgeable practitioners in the field of Homeopathy. Most of them earned their Homeopathic Medical Degrees from their countries of Origin where it is already a regulated profession. In Canada homeopathy was regulated from 1866-1970 but on account of non availability of a teaching institution it no longer remained regulated thereafter.
Due to consistent and sustained efforts and campaign by the H.M.A.C. along with the other Homeopathic Associations/Stakeholders, Homeopathy has since been regulated by the Government of Ontario with effect from 4 June, 2007 vide Homeopathic Act, 2007.
