Dear HMAC Members, Greetings.

HMAC board of directors wishes you and your family Joyous Holiday Season and a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2012.

You are aware that the Transitional Council of College of Homeopaths have just released the draft Competency Profile for Entry-to-Practice Homeopaths practicing in Ontario ” for 60-days formal consultation of Homeopaths and stakeholders. You are accordingly requested vide our posting in the HMAC web site to send your feedback to us by January 20, 2012 so that we may consolidate your views/concerns etc. for onward submission to the TC CHO by first week of February, 2012.

You are aware that the year 2012 is going to be a historical year for homeopaths of Ontario as the TC CHO have since announced the countdown to proclamation which has since been firmly set for completion in early 2013 and the pre-registration of members going to begin this year i.e. sometime in late 2012. We therefore request to start organizing your records by ensuring the requisites which would be necessary to be submitted to the Transitional Council of College of Homeopaths of Ontario for the members interested in the pre-registration process which is expected to be beginning from late 2012 onwards.

We also wish to thank our members for their faith and trust in our Association for achieving this great success by your co-operation and participation in the Seminars, Professional Development Programs, homeopathic awareness and promotional programs organized through Health events etc. which resulted in the historic achievement in Ontario with the passage of Homeopathic Act 2007 .Our achievements for the year 2011 include the Hahnemann Birthday Celebration meeting, monthly meetings/events which include Seminars by Homeopathic Stalwart/official meetings with TC CHO, and a joint Homeopathic Conference with O.H.A., NUPATH,HMCC in October2011.. During the year 2011, our Membership have proudly grown very fast owing to the best quality of the programs and events organized by the Association for promotion of “International Standards Compliant Homeopathy” in Canada.

The new year 2012 would be another historical year for Homeopathy in Ontario as mentioned above and we would be arranging a get together in early 2012 for keeping you updated on the regulatory process.

Finally it is the time to renew the HMAC membership. Those members who have not yet renewed their annual membership for the year 2011-12, may please do so urgently by sending their payment to the Secretary, HMAC (Phone: 647-505-6992) for avoiding their names gong into the inactive HMAC membership status (who do not enjoy all the rights and privileges of the Association leading deletion of names from the HMAC membership register). Those members who have since paid their dues may please discard this advise.

At the end we salute to Dr. Hahnemann, who gave us this great Medical system of Healing Art and we wish that this New Year 2012. brings you all- best of health, happiness, wisdom and prosperity.
