Research Assistant (Summer student positions)
The five transitional Councils for the Colleges of Kinesiology, Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists, Naturopathy, and Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists of Ontario require two students as Research Assistants to conduct research and analysis of systems options.
This project will entail researching systems solutions used by other self-regulating professions in Ontario to support various functions including registration of members, database management, and various business functions. In addition the project will require analysis of the systems needs identified by the transitional Colleges to determine what aspects of systems design and development might be undertaken jointly.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess strong research and analytical skills, excellent communication skills to carry out interviews, some understanding of computer systems, ability to work in a team atmosphere and writing skills.
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: September 2, 9 or 16 depending upon availability of successful applicants.
